Unkle Bob, aka Rick Webster, has been making music for a long time now, but with fresh direction and a brand new EP “Songs For Others,” it seems like time to highlight him as our Artist of the Week.
Taking a different tack with this EP, Rick has been experimenting more with his sound. Usually purely acoustic, this latest EP sees Unkle Bob trying something new with electric guitars, distortion and loops. However, Rick has kept that signature “personal” Unkle Bob touch, as it’s though he’s singing songs just for us.
Rick shows no signs of slowing down, with many live shows already under his belt this year and more planned, the “Songs For Others” EP is just the first chapter of Unkle Bob’s journey into some exciting new territory. He’s an artist with longevity and he’s here to stay.
