Our latest dreamy indie-pop discovery is Erika Wester. She creates ambient soundscapes with jangling guitar twangs on new single “Novelty” and we can’t get enough. Fans of the likes of Snail Mail and Alvvays will feel at home here.
Talking about the single, Wester explains, “It’s a song that explores the vulnerability of an old relationship through a nostalgic lens. The lyrics ‘the novelty of addiction’ highlight cherishing relationships that do more harm than good.”
