The Jar Family have spent most of 2012 touring and recording, so what better way to end the year than with ramshackling, festive fun with an end of year gig in London. It finishes a brilliant year for the band who’ve toured with Alabama 3, released the single “Poolie Strut,” and the video for their forthcoming single “Broken Minded” (out next year).
The gig takes place this Friday 14th December at the Monto Water Rats in London. It’s a packed bill with Shaebou, Oxygen Thieves, Harlem Rose, and Manouche supporting the Hartlepool six-piece. Tickets are £6, available from Ticketweb.
With “Broken Minded” arriving in January, 2013 and an album shortly after, this is a great chance for a good old knees-up with The Jar Family, who’ve gained a reputation for their energetic live performances. Not to be missed!
