Owen Pallett Performs ‘Heartland’ with the Britten Sinfonia and announces live dates

Owen Pallett is to perform his album Heartland in its entirety, with full orchestral accompaniment from the Britten Sinfonia (arranged by Pallett). The show will take place on 8th May at the Barbican as part of the Steve Reich season which sees some of today’s most visionary artists explore Reich’s influence on generations of composers and musicians. This will be the first orchestral performance of Owen’s 2010 album, Heartland, in the UK and the first time that the entire album has ever been performed in this way.

Owen will also be playing live dates this month and next, in Europe and the US, as follows:
