This month sees the enigmatic Cass McCombs blowing through the UK and Ireland on a whistle stop tour to promote his fifth album Wit’s End. We here at Vinyl District UK think it’s his best yet. Media-shy McCombs is a 33 year old, hard to pigeon hole singer/songwriter who hails from California, and has throughout his life lived everywhere, and by his own admission nowhere. His lyrics are witty and at times brutally truthful and allow us as listeners a momentary sneak peak into the man’s elusive private life.
