What I love about vinyl and the culture that surrounds it is, beyond the fact that music just sounds better under a needle, real records help give an album the respect it deserves. You listen from start to finish. You take care of the physical product because it’s fragile and valuable, and it’s worth being kind to.

That’s a bit from Jillette Johnson’s First Date feature with us a few weeks back, and in a sincere gesture of indeed feeling grateful, Jillette has given us 3 copies of her single “Cameron” to put in your hands. The A side is the full studio version of the track, and the B side is a more stripped down take on the single from 2013—which also appears on her current full length release, Water in a Whale.
