VIA PRESS RELEASE | Australian alt-electro pioneers Empire Of The Sun (Luke Steele & Nick Littlemore) celebrate the tenth anniversary of their multiple-ARIA-award winning debut album, Walking On A Dream, with the release of a limited-edition vinyl—the first vinyl release of the album in over three years.
The special product is available for pre-order via Astralwerks and will be released on February 1. Additionally, Empire Of the Sun will share a previously unreleased track titled “Chrysalis” the same day. The celebratory limited-edition vinyl product includes a gatefold, 180-gram heavyweight vinyl of Walking On A Dream on transparent blood orange vinyl, a unique code to download the previously unreleased track “Chrysalis,” and features the original artwork from the initial 2009 vinyl release.
In 2008, two of Australia’s leading musicians/producers Luke Steele (The Sleepy Jackson) and Nicholas Littlemore (Pnau) created a vision that seemed to come from an alternative reality—a post-apocalyptic psychedelic adventure known as Empire Of The Sun.
