Greetings From Laurel Canyon!
What separates life in Southern California from any place I’ve lived is how the warm Summer sun lingers into October. It must be the mixture of the afternoon sunlight and the warm breeze that gives this town its “angel” namesake.
If there is a “last surf session” or a “final encore” to be had, it will happen now in LA when the desert wind carries the last warmth of Summer to the sea.
