“When I was a teenager I got most of my new music from skateboard videos.”
“The radio stations in Denmark where I grew up was/still is really bad, and I didn’t have the internet back then, so this was my only way to discover new music. I remember hearing “Let It Ride” by Dinosaur Jr in the Santa Cruz “Speed Freaks” when I was 13 years old. My first ever self bought vinyl was Dinosaur Jr’s Bug.
I also remember coming home after school when I was 9 – 11 years old and would go through my stepfather record collection. I had to do it when he wasn’t home. He didn’t want me to touch his stuff. I clearly remember first time I found Bob Dylan, Blonde on Blonde, Coltrane, Love Supreme, Can, Spoon and Neil Young, Harvest in his collection. It totally changed my life.
I have a lot of favorite records. To mention a few is very difficult for me, but here is a ruff list.”
