Guns N’ Roses Playing This Friday in San Francisco? Well, sort of.

The original drummer of Guns N Roses brings his gaggle of 80’s metal loving road dogs to the Red Devil Lounge this Friday night.

Steven Adler has been busier than ever. He recently released a new single appropriately titled “Alive” in conjunction with his tell all autobiography My Appetite for Destruction: Sex, and Drugs, and Guns N’ Roses. In addition he just signed on for the next season of the reality TV show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew for his second appearance.

While Axl Rose is out touring the world and making excuses for the poor sales of the decade in the making “masterpiece” Chinese Democracy, Adler is recreating a live experience that fans have been clamoring for. This is sure to be the closest thing many of us will ever see when it comes to a GnR show taking place in a small club. The shows have been selling out all across the country as new and old fans alike are jumping at the chance to relive what is basically a celebration of the biggest selling debut album of all time; Appetite For Destruction.

Adler’s Appetite, with Adler, Lonny Paul, Chip Z’Nuff (yes, from the band Enuff Z’Nuff), Michael Thomas and Patrick Stone.

Expect to see almost the entire Appetite album played to a tee, along side a few new original songs and the classic “Civil War” (the only track Adler played on from the Use Your Illusion sessions).
