Here’s a show not to miss, New Yorkers! Well, at least if your taste is anything like mine. And you DO taste delightful.
Last.fm presents Amen Dunes, Quilt, Friend Roulette…all performing live sets. And to kick things off, a listening party for Mike Wexler‘s debut album, Disposession, out on Mexican Summer Records.
If you know these bands, well then, you know you’re in for a treat. If you don’t, then go out on a limb Friday and get a killer surprise treat. From the Last.fm site invite:
On February 24th, experience the hypnotic psychedelica of Amen Dunes, the golden brown melodies of Quilt, and Friend Roulette’s labyrinthine arrangements at Dominion NY (an intimate new space on Lafayette St). Get there early for a special listening party of Mike Wexler’s debut album, ‘Dispossession’ – a harrowing epic that channels late 60s British folk through a dystopian kaleidoscope of daydreams and deep emotions.
The show starts at 8pm with $8 tickets available at the door; buy advance tickets for $5 here.
