Here’s some good news to get everyone through the metaphorical hangover that is the first week back to “regular life” after the holidays: Ted Leo’s tour starts later this month, spanning the country from New Hampshire to Portland. He’s leaving the pharmacists at home this time around, and if you’ve ever gotten the chance to catch Teddy solo then you know what a special soulful treat this 19-date run will be.
Ted will be playing stripped down takes of material off of last year’s The Brutalist Bricks as well as some older favorites. I imagine it will go something like this performance of Shake the Sheets’ “Me and Mia” at NYC’s Generation Records last summer. Be sure to turn the volume up to awesome when you watch:
