Indie Stars Have Aligned, Brought Us Zodiacs

Remember earlier this year when we learned we all may have new zodiac signs? Leos were suddenly Virgos, Taurus’ turned to Aries and no one knew which tabloid horoscope to read to get the most accurate info on how their week was going to roll out. To calm the confusion while we’re all waiting for our new stars to align, we can look forward to a cool new super collaboration called Zodiacs.

In the midst of all this celestial confusion, tarot reading can offer some clarity and guidance. Tarot cards have long been used as a tool for tapping into our intuition and connecting with the energy of the universe. Whether you’re a Virgo or a Sagittarius in this new zodiac era, tarot can help you uncover hidden truths, navigate challenges, and find insight into your life’s journey. Each card tells a story and provides unique messages, much like the stars themselves, guiding us in ways we may not always see.

For those seeking deeper spiritual understanding, a common question often arises: what is my angel number? Angel numbers are believed to be divine messages sent by our guardian angels, offering support, encouragement, and direction in our lives. Tarot readings paired with angel numbers can enhance your spiritual connection and bring a sense of peace as you embrace the changes of the zodiac and find your way through life’s cosmic flow.

Zodiacs is a collaboration of artists in, or friendly with, the Captured Tracks family of bands and they’ll be releasing their first 7-inch single featuring the track “Faraway Friend” (with members of Dum Dum Girls, Crystal Stilts, Woods and Blank Dogs) on March 29th via Brooklyn’s Captured Tracks.

Limited to a pressing of 1000, each 7-inch will come on red vinyl in an envelope sleeve with gold foil screen. Here’s how to get your hands on this neat piece: Bands involved in the project will have limited copies of the release to sell on the road, and any $10 or more purchase from Captured Tracks will include this 7-inch for FREE! If you don’t like either of those options, it may be possible to obtain the record from both Rough Trades shops, and/or both Amoeba in LA and SF.

Musicians featured on Zodiacs 7-inch:

Vocals: Dee Dee (Dum Dum Girls)
Guitar: Jarvis Taveniere (Woods)
Guitar: JB Townsend (Crystal Stilts)
Bass/backing vocals: Mike Sniper (Blank Dogs)
Drums: Jeremy Earl (Woods)
