The announcement was made yesterday afternoon. “Uncle” Lionel Batiste will be laid to rest next Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts. There’s a second line this afternoon to honor his memory. Here’s a look at this weekend.
