Hot on the heels of their wonderful performance at Tipitina’s the Sunday before Labor Day, Dave and Tommy Malone will be appearing this evening at Carrollton Station.
Unlike the performance at Tips, this gig will be considerably more intimate. Dave said, “It’s just the two of us, partly plugged, doing a whole show of our fave songs.” The performance will be similar to the duet that closed the regular set at Tips when they brought the house down on “Dark End of the Street.”
There will likely be more covers in the set as well. Dave concluded that the performance will be, “Just like at the kitchen table in Edgard.” The two brothers grew up in the rural town of Edgard, Louisiana. But then, you knew that.
