The innovative indie rock band from Philadelphia hits the uptown club tonight. Cotton Jones opens.
The group is touring in support of their latest recording, Be the Void, which was released this past February on Anti-Records. It is their seventh studio album. They also just released an EP of songs that were recorded during the Be the Void sessions. It’s called Wild Race.
The band’s profile has continued to rise in 2012. They appeared on Austin City Limits and at the Hangout Festival. The current tour began in Alaska and takes them across the country before finishing up in Nashville next week.
Cotton Jones is also an indie band that leans more towards a country-pop sound. The band features the vocal harmonies of husband and wife duo Michael Nau and Whitney McGraw.
