This evening at the Maple Leaf Bar, two stalwarts of the jazz scene in New Orleans will join Johnny Vidacovich.
The Trio gig at the uptown club is always one of the best regularly scheduled weekly events in the city. However, sometimes you won’t know whether bassist George Porter Jr. and guitarist June Yamagishi, who developed the free form musical concept along with Vidacovich, will be on the gig until you get there.
