When the French Quarter Festival decided to add another day to the schedule after twenty-seven years, they had to move the annual kick off party up a day. So it’s tonight at the House of Blues. The party is a celebration and a fundraiser.
They will have two stages set up. Modern day bluesman Little Freddie King (pictured) will perform in the Voodoo Garden and zydeco heir Rockin’ Dopsie Jr. will be on the main stage. The organizers are promising food from the Gospel Brunch menu and a good time to be had by all.
