For the fans of the New Orleans Radiators, known as Fishheads, there is only one place to be tonight and that is at Tipitina’s for the first show of the last three-night stand. The group is disbanding after over 33 years together.
It’s been a long road for the “boys with noise” and many of their fans have been along for the whole ride. Tonight is scheduled to be an acoustic show. They have not played stripped down in many years in New Orleans, but they have performed acoustically as recently as 2010 in other cities. The show is ostensibly sold out, but tickets are becoming available hourly on the social networks, so if you feel the urge, head down to the corner of Napoleon and Tchopitoulas around 10 PM and I predict you’ll get lucky.
