After all the parades have passed Tipitina’s, one of the greatest of the modern day bluesmen will be performing. No one would ever consider Hart’s style to be Carnival music, but his searing attack on the electric guitar and earthly vocals have earned him comparisons to the legendary John Lee Hooker.
After Hart’s performance, the Radiators will hit the stage as they continued their “Last Roundup” leading to their final performance on the same stage in mid June. They will also be performing at the private party on Saturday night and again at the Krewe of Orpheus Ball on Monday night. They open for those icons of 80s shlock rock, Loverboy.
