Good Friday Memphis! (Err, wasn’t that last week?) *Ahem* Here we are with yet another addition of the Line-Up. This weekend, we’ll have you getting your southern drawl fix as well as jamming out to some great alt rock from outta town. Get your weekend warrior face on, its time for battle yet again!
Friday (4/13) will start things off with lots of class and a little bit of twang. Kevin Gordon and his heartfelt Americana will be making an appearance at the spacious place that is Minglewood Hall.
Aiding Mr. Gordon with a huge helping of a taste of the south, Grace Askew is set to play all of her classics, ensuring a good portion of delta heat.
If your more into hard rock, no sweat. The Candy Company are gonna be rocking out the Buccaneer Lounge with a late show. If you’re able to get out of the Minglewood gig, head on over to get your face blasted out through your earholes.
Saturday (4/13) will change the pace up a little bit. Rock up and comers Plants & Animals are gonna be blowing up the spot at The Hi-Tone Cafe. Known for their strong and heavy chord progressions in tandem with thier expert musicianship and stellar live show; this show is one not to be missed.
If you’re feeling some love for Memphis, Saturday also has some great representation for the Bluff City. Animal Sounds and their instinctual aural bliss will be floating through the halls of Otherlands Coffeebar. Bean and their well crafted songs will also be appearing, so be sure to come down to support some great local flavor!
