TVD’s The Idelic Hour with Jon Sidel

Greetings from Laurel Canyon!

As I write this I have to wonder if anyone out there will be reading. After all, who might be reading a vinyl site on the Friday before Labor Day? It’s more of a day to “chase the sun,” or should I say, “get the fuck out of Dodge!”

It’s cool. I have no plans or an axe to grind. The summer of 2016 is about set. At times I’ve felt lost, but the warmth of my family, friends, and the canyon have kept me smiling. In fact Labor Day in this neck of the woods marks the beginning of Indian Summer.

It really is the grooviest time to be in LA—as the sun begins to set for the summer in the rest of the country, Californians have plenty of it left to bask in its “left coast” rays.

Here’s a playlist to kick it to. It’s mellow, like a tequila sunset.

Well, kind of.
