Greetings from Laurel Canyon!
I often think about great songs that have never been heard. Romantic notions maybe, but certainly poor Judee Sill overdosed hoping she’d come to in a world that knew this song:

I spoke to a couple of great young musicians yesterday afternoon. They have mastered their craft of playing and writing. Still there lingers the questions of note, “Will I be heard? Will my song come to life in the hearts of many or will it die on the vine, lonely, cold as coding, lost in the matrix of streaming?”
There is an Irish crooner named Ken Griffin. He had a band called Favourite Sons and Rollerskate Skinny. He sings with soul and made wonderful recordings. Please listen. Then there’s Radiohead who wrote a song that got on the radio, then followed it with a very righteous sophomore album. Nice dream indeed.
