Idelic hit: noun
a moment in time where an artist, song, or moment holds the torch for rock ‘n’ roll.

What started out being a list of 40 songs has gone past 60 and will end up being closer to four hours of Idelic vinyl, all released in the year 2015—the year where rock ‘n’ roll and its fans withstood a bloody attack—and which was filled with solid releases and long lines at vinyl plants.

Here’s the “2nd 20,” numbers 39-21 of the coolest in music of 2015: Songhoy Blues, Amen Dunes, Lana Del Rey, Dungen, Bill Ryder-Jones, Sleater Kinney, Wilco, Car Seat Headrest, Grimes, Will Butler, Marilyn Manson, Wand, Young Fathers, Mathew E. White, Ultimate Painting, FIDLAR, Hop Along, Blitzen Trapper, El Vy, and Best Coast.

The Idelic Hit of the Week:
Best Coast – California Nights

Hoop it up.
