Greetings from Laurel Canyon!
Every so often we fall upon a Friday the 13th. For a rocker like me that can’t be a bad thing. 13 is pretty much a symbol for celebration in Hollywood, and at this point of the year, any reason is as good as any—but 13? Hooray!
With this special Friday of 2015 in mind, my Idelic Hour goal was to make a free-flowing mix that lasts 1 hour 13 minutes and 13 seconds. (Well, I tried.) Sometimes in life we’re a second short or a second long.
What a strange trip life can be. Always trying to get it right, but maybe what makes us human is a perfect lack of perfection? It’s like 13—no elevator stop for that cool number.
