Greetings from Laurel Canyon!
My wife told me there was a big astrological change yesterday. I gather the heavens have sorted themselves out and now we can “get on with it” with a tiny bit more clarity than we had last month. I’m not sure why, but I feel this.
My struggle with the technical abilities of my Mac (and thus the modern world) continue—a weird, self-imposed headache. It’s interesting to think what happens to your world when all of your “programs” from 2010 update for 2014.
Father John Misty is an artist who thinks and sings about shit like this. In 2012, Misty gave us my “Idelic” song of the year with “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings,” and this week Misty burst back on the scene to debut a stunning new anthem which is now this week’s Idelic muse:
