This morning, the long-awaited line-up for Virgin Mobile FreeFest was announced via select Twitter followers. The Billboard-award winning festival returns to Merriweather Post Pavilion on Saturday, October 6th, once again featuring two stages and a Dance Forest.
The line-up boasts Jack White and Skrillex anchoring the stages, along with support from M83, NAS, ZZ Top, Santigold, Alabama Shakes, Ben Folds Five, The Dismemberment Plan, Allen Stone, Trampled by Turtles, Portugal. The Man, Das Racist, Future Islands, and Justin Jones. The Dance Forest will feature Above & Beyond, Porter & Zedd (Back to Back), Thomas Gold, Nervo, Alvin Risk, and Penguin Prison.
Tickets will be “on free” to the general public at noon on Friday, August 24th. Twitter followers of Virgin Mobile Freefest (@virginmlive), Virgin Mobile customers, and prior Virgin Mobile Festival ticket buyers be invited to participate in a private presale, held on Thursday, August 23rd.
