Nashville’s own vinyl pressing plant, URP, is heading down to SXSW to do their yearly panel and they are doing some exciting promotions as well. URP’s Jay Millar will be speaking on the panel “Vinyl Records 3.0 Challenges and Rewards” on Saturday March 19th at the Austin Convention Center. (Room 16B, panel begins at 11am)
While you are at the panel make sure you look for one of 1000 4.75″ vinyl records that will be given away at this and other as-of-yet unnamed locations during SXSW.
Every record contains Shredder from the upcoming Jeff the Brotherhood LP We Are the Champions followed by some sort of “announcement” from the band. If that doesn’t make you want to get your hands on one then this will: ONE lucky record is a GOLDEN TICKET that will entitle the finder of said “golden ticket” to 500 free 7″s!!!
