Due to Death Cab for Cutie’s long-standing friendship and partnership, Barsuk, the band’s former independent label, released this special LP vinyl piece, titled Codes and Keys. And it’s up for grabs to one lucky reader. The new high-quality album was released last week, and the band performed last Friday at the 9:30 Club, to a sold-out show.

TVD Editor Olivia told me a funny story about when she went to the 9:30 Club on Friday to pick up some flyers for the DC Record Fair last weekend:
There were people lined up all the way around the corner. Unlucky fans without tickets begged and pleaded in front of the club, “Please just sell me a ticket for something reasonable… $50, $70 even. PLEASE.” Those Death Cab fans are rabid.
