Classically-trained Yann Tiersen will be bringing his mellifluous music to 9:30 Club on Tuesday. You may know this avant garde artist through his dulcet compositions from the Amélie Soundtrack, or from his newest album released last October from ANTI- Records, Dust Lane.
Tiersen plays a variety of instruments, including the piano, violin, guitar, accordion, mandolin, and bouzouki. A bouzouki is some kind of Greek lute, and yes, we had to wikipedia that.
