The Concretes, touring in support of their ethereal, disco-influenced record WYWH return to the States armed with a new label (Brooklyn-based tastemakers Friendly Fire Recordings), and a new singer (Lisa Milberg, though not new to the band, has stepped out from behind the drums to take over vocals for the band after the departure of Victoria Bergsman), and a new lease on life.
The band lands in DC this coming Tuesday night (1/25) along with Hooray for Earth, and we’ve got a pair of tickets to put in one of your hands for the show at the Rock and Roll Hotel.
