There’s nothing like a show of the hardest rock soaked in the darkest reaches of the human mind. Well, there is getting to see it… free. That’s right, we’ve gotten ahold of two fantastically evil lawn tickets to the most hellish show around.
Rob Zombie and Megadeth are co-headlining a US tour, and we’ve got your way into one of the most coveted shows of the tour, at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday, May 13th, starting at 4pm.
Acts scheduled to perform on two stages are as follows:
Pavilion Stage: Rob Zombie, Megadeth, and Lacuna Coil
Fantasies Stage: Battery (“The Masters of Metallica Tribute Band,” hand-picked by Metallica to open their Garage Inc. Tour in ’98), Santuary (tribute to Iron Maiden), and Moon Baby (tribute to Godsmack)
Prolific as hell, with an attitude described as such, Rob Zombie is a musician/film director/screenwriter/multiple-hat-wearer who is known for his on-stage theatrics. Having played live shows throughout his 20+ year career, he’s a hardened veteran. With a back catalog stocked with award nominations and platinum albums, you’d be a crazy to pass up seeing this devil on stage. And as amazing as Mr. Zombie is, the deal only gets better from here.
A jewel in the gleaming thrash metal crown, Megadeth is the living manifesto of the deepest, darkest corners of the ’80s. 13 studio albums, 2 EPs, and 3 live records deep, the rock giants have yet to touch the breaks as they tour in support of their most recent effort Thirteen. With decades of touring and a dense amount of recorded material, Megadeth are sure to blow your face out of your ass and have it be the most satisfying experience of your life.
