They’ll be supported by equally fun Delhi 2 Dublin, so you know your night will be soundtracked with good vibes. If you’re looking for something unique in DC, this is a damn good place to start. Balkan Beat Box is a three-piece that makes upbeat music that samples techniques and styles from the world over, for a special blend of eclectic dance music.
Since their self-titled debut in 2005, the Beatbox has conveyed their eclectic taste of traditional world music through a dancey, Mediterranean filter. Their most recent release, 2012’s Give, showcases the band’s insatiable drive to make diverse music that establishes common ground between all different kinds of people.
