Rejoice! Fans of local DIY sensation Shark Week can now relive their killer live shows with the release of their debut 3-track EP today, aptly titled EP.
The pay-what-you-want EP is now available from Bandcamp, and the quartet kicks off the release with a show at Montserrat House tonight. Presale tickets are still available until 4pm today, so hurry! Tickets at the door will be limited and are sure to sell out.
When not practicing law, reporting on the government beat, or running Mount Pleasant’s “premiere basically-legal hair salon,” the members of Shark Week make laid-back-but-vibrant, punk-infused garage rock with a throwback vibe.
Sharing the stage with Shark Week will be DC staples The Blackberry Belles and Jeremy Teter with BROS (formerly BROADS) behind the decks. To celebrate the release of the EP, Discovery Channel will continue the party with its very own Shark Week all next week. (Kidding. Please don’t email us.)
Any guesses where Shark Week frontman Ryan Mitchell will suspend himself or climb on top of, tonight?
