We’re closing out our Home Sweet Home DC spotlight with 9:30 Club regulars Ra Ra Rasputin, who will be returning to the club tonight to play DCWEEK’s Opening Party along with seven other fantastic DC-based bands.
Because it don’t stop, they’ll also be headlining a show at Gold Leaf on Saturday, alongside Dead Leaf Echo, Last Tide, and Smoke Green. And to get you excited for this weekend’s sonic smackdown, Ra Ra has kindly allowed us to premier a video recorded during one of their practice sessions at Gold Leaf Studios, which will sadly be closing on January 31st.
Tonight’s DCWEEK event kicks off a week of tech conferences, but these nerds surely can throw down, as tickets are currently very low. There are only a little over 100 remaining, so grab them fast so that you can party with 1,200 of your closest friends.

Tomorrow’s Gold Leaf bash is an informal BYOB event. Bring some food to grill as this may possibly be the last nice weekend before the drudgery of winter! The show is free, but show some love especially to Dead Leaf Echo, who are coming down from NYC for this gig. Details on facebook, start time 6pm.
