To some, Washington, DC, might have a reputation of crime, poverty, and corruption—but there is still a lot of good in this city. Today marks a milestone for the nation’s capital as locals have made an effort to spawn the DC Peace Festival. The event will be full of fuzzy good feelings, all aimed towards the proliferation of peace.
Notable artists including Louder Than Quiet, Phil Adé, and Gods’illa will be blowing up the spot to support the cause and raise funds for prostate cancer, so you’d have to be nuts not to come and support!
Hosted by Enoch 7th Prophet, the monumental show is a benefit for the local prostate cancer awareness group The Pro-Seeds Project. Besides the massive skills of Louder Than Quiet, Phil Adé, and Gods’illa, the concert will also feature performances from Future, Ari Lennox, Urban Cartel, Bushido Blade, and Skip Mahoney & the Casuals.
The event will be held at DC9 and goes live at 7pm tonight (doors at 6pm). It’s sure to have you rocking for love and good will everywhere throughout the night. Be sure to come out early to show your support of brotherly love!
