Last week, Little Steven or Steven Van Zandt, as you may know him, of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, The Sopranos, and in this case, SiriusXM’s Little Steven’s Underground Garage station and show, named Candy Golde’s track “Trouble’s Coming Down” The Coolest Song in the World on his radio show.
So, in other words, the coolest band in the world, whose members include Nick Tremulis (Nick Tremulis Orchestra), Rick Rizzo (Eleventh Dream Day), John Stirratt (Wilco, The Autumn Defense), newest member on the keys Mark Greenberg (Eleventh Dream Day, The Coctails), and of course, Bun E Carlos (Cheap Trick)—can we say defines supergroup?—was named as having the coolest song in the world by one of the coolest guys in the world. Gotcha.
Candy Golde | Trouble’s Coming Down
Listen to the show via the Underground Garage. Candy Golde won their place in our hearts when they had lunch with TVD Austin during SXSW, and their new self-titled EP is released this Wednesday on Ten O Nine Records. We can’t wait.
