THE DEAD SHIPS @ Double Door, 10/14
The Dead Ships is a Los Angeles duo made up of Chicago-native Devin McCluskey, and Christopher Spindelilus, from Alabama. Taking on guitar/vocals and drums, respectively, the two have created an incredible blend of blues, pop, and good old-fashioned garage rock. They self-released their first EP last spring, and their follow-up effort is a spectacular 7” vinyl which was released at the end of September.
You can pick up the 7” vinyl through Bandcamp, and check out the track, “Amaze,” and its b-side “Friends By Default” above.
