This upcoming Monday, 5/7, Toronto based art-dance/rock trio, Lioness, will be rounding out a short tour in support of their new release, The Golden Killer, at Township in Chicago.
The 18+ show kicks off at 9:00 PM with support from Chicago’s When Clouds Attack. Tickets are just $7, and can be picked up online in advance of the show through Ticketweb.

Formed in 2007, Lioness is made up of vocalist Vanessa Fischer, bassist Ronnie Morris, and drummer Jeff Scheven. In 2008, they released a self-titled EP, followed by two volumes of Omens, Oracles and Signs.
The Golden Killer does a fantastic job encapsulating Lioness’ dark dance floor vibe. Their engaging stage visuals and theatrics translate incredibly well into the 12 track LP as they marry dance beats and heavy rock overtones.
