TVD Recommends: Carter Hulsey at
Mojoes of Joliet, 3/29

It’s been just over four months since we sat down with Joplin, Missouri’s Carter Hulsey at the Riviera in Chicago. When we last spoke, Carter’s nationwide tour opening for NeverShoutNever was coming to a close, and his newest record, What You Carry, had just been released on vinyl.

Now, out on their first headlining tour, The Carter Hulsey Band will be stopping off at Mojoes of Joliet this Thursday, 3/29.

What You Carry, Carter’s six track EP, is an incredible blend of pop, rock, folk and country. You can get a feel for the vibe of the record from the lead single, “Black My Lungs”.

You can pick up What You Carry on 12” vinyl at the show on Thursday, or order it online straight from from Carter’s website for just $5.

The all ages show kicks off at 6:30 PM at Mojoes of Joliet, 22 W. Cass St. Opening for Carter will be Windsor Drive, From Indian Lakes, The Run Around, and It Starts With Lights. You can pick up advance tickets through Ticket Rumba for just $10.
