Folk group The Go Round got started just 3 years ago and have already begun to take the country by storm. Based out of Brooklyn, the two founding members, Brandon Whightsel and Richard Duke were successful as a duo on their debut album, Gone. For Eastern Parkway, their sophmore effort, the group decided to expand to a quartet, and have welcomed Scott Townsend and Theodora Prunoske, on the drums and violin, respectively.

From lonesome travelers, whom fate decided should meet, to folk quartet triumph, The Go Round are everything and more. Their new album Eastern Parkway is due out on September 20th from Aquatic Tart Records.
To help cover their tour costs and the vinyl pressing of Eastern Parkway, the band just launched a Kickstarter Campaign. Sure, there are lots of bands out there utilizing Kickstarter, but only The Go Round recorded a Kickstarter Campaign theme song.
If you are itching to see these fellas, and lady live, then you are in luck. On September 22, The Go Round, are hitting The Elbo Room in Chicago.
