The Dude himself stopped by Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report last night to perform a track from his recently released album Jeff Bridges. The album, released by Blue Note Records, and produced by the incredible T-Bone Burnett (The Big Lebowski, O’ Brother Where Art Thou?, Crazy Heart), is being categorized as a country album similar to the previous Burnett/Bridges effort in the 2009 film Crazy Heart. On the Colbert Report however, Bridges admitted that the album is a bit more eclectic, sampling from Jazz styles among others.
Bridges closed the show with a performance of the album’s lead track and first single, “What a Little Bit of Love Can Do”.
