Bloodshot Records to take part in the Hideout Holiday Sale, 12/20

The secretive Chicago venue known only as The Hideout will once again be hosting their annual Holiday Sale. This is a chance for local and independent vendors to get together and sell their homemade and vintage goodies.

Amongst the handmade jewelry, soaps, guitar straps and art, will be Chicago’s Bloodshot Records. They will be onsite selling a selection of swag and vinyl records from the 40+ active artists they represent.

Bloodshot Records was started in 1994 and have always supported the punk, country, soul, pop, bluegrass, blues and rock bands that have little to no regard for the proper method of music and just want to make amazing tunes.

Fueled by the punk rooted and DIY method of music, Bloodshot has worked tirelessly to keep the independent record label from falling victim to what they call the “Wal-martization” of the nation.

They work night and day to make sure that the independence of music is supported both in the production and the sales. Help them fight the good fight and keep the independent music scene alive, especially in Chicago.

Along with the sale at the Hideout, Bloodshot is offering it’s own Holiday Sale with CDs and LPs for $5, $7.50 and $10 through their website. See the complete list of sale items here.

The Hideout Holiday Sale runs from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and the admission is completely FREE!
