Weekend Shots!

It’s that time again, weekend warriors! This weekend is full of birthday singalongs as the Beachland Ballroom and Tavern is celebrating their 12th birthday, and Now That’s Class is celebrating their 5th!

To party it up, the Beachland is packed full of music all weekend, and Now That’s Class is having… sumo wrestling? That’s right, Friday and Saturday, they will be putting on shows and renting out sumo gear and mats. Loser buys drinks!

If those soirees don’t cut it for you, Atlas Sound will be performing at The Grog Shop on Sunday if you need a fix for dancing. Either way, there’s something for everyone happening this weekend in Cleveland. We’ll see you around!

Weekend Shots!

Hey, you animals. The weekend is finally here and you might want to treat yourself. If so, you picked the best weekend to actually get out of bed and have a night out in your city. Cleveland has a lot to offer this weekend, so let’s check it out just in case Ghost Rider II sells out.

The best event this weekend has got to be Brite Winter Festival happening in Ohio City on Saturday evening. The night is going to be packed with bands preforming in shops, restaurants, and an outdoor stage. Now I know what you’re thinking…but, with bands like The Lighthouse & The Whaler, The Modern Electric, and Bethesda showing up it is definitely worth the cold, night air.

Aside from great music there will also be showings of great local and international art. The festivities start at 5. Support Cleveland and swing by; we’ll save you a spot by the fire!

Weekend Shots!

Ciao, gents and dames! You’ve survived the first month of the new year! How are you feeling? With the year starting to set in, we think you deserve to take a load off, so let’s look at what Cleveland has to offer in good music, shall we?

Our featured show for the last weekend of January is Jack’s Mannequin supported by Jukebox The Ghost and Allen Stone on Sunday (1/29) at the House of Blues. This alternative band has been making music since 2005, and released five studio albums that have achieved top chart positions.

This show will allow many to reminisce about younger years when songs “The Mixed Tape” and “Dark Blue” reigned supreme on the airwaves, and is certainly going to be an experience not to miss. We’ll see you there!
