Black Milk – This MC/Producer is the closest thing to J Dilla that Detroit has to offer. He has been acknowledged by fans, critics, and peers as one of the better producers in the game. With five solo and six collabo albums under his belt this gifted MC and beatsmith paints the picture of the Detroit you only read and hear about.

Binary Star – Comprising of One Be Lo and Senim Silla, these two have been at it since 1998. Hailing from Pontiac, Michigan, these two have toured all over the world. Danny Brown – “The Hybrid”, this MC has gained recognition and success hustling his music on the internet. His clever wordplay and comical punchlines continue to bridge the gap between hipster and hood rap and prove that he is more than just hype.

Invincible + Waajeed – This MC and producer are both accomplished artists in their own right. Invincible, in my book, is one of the best female MC’s in the game (sorry Nicki Minaj).
