Phono+Graphic: 60 Vinyl Record Covers by 60 Comic Book Artists, to be exhibited at Kendal Museum in October, has been curated by the locally-based, internationally-renowned comics artist Sean Phillips, who is also one of the Festival patrons.
In the age of digital downloads, where a click can buy an album or you can stream a song straight to your phone, it seems the art of owning and buying music has faded. But hundreds of crate-diggers and audiophiles who gathered in Bridgeport on Saturday for WPKN-FM’s Music Mash Record Fair proved the experience of buying records is far from scratched out.
