“My father was a music lover of various tastes and was the kind of dad who would sing his favorite songs and do awkward dances in the kitchen, especially when my friends were over.”
“He would play the music from his record player and as a 10-year-old I did not like that machine, since it caused the awkward dancing! BUT, once I heard Simon & Garfunkel playing, it changed me. I would play their record over and over and I’d take it to my room and listen to my favorite songs “Cecilia” and “Sound of Silence.”
When we release our debut album in early 2017, we will be pressing up a limited amount on vinyl, in addition to releasing it online and on CD. We would love nothing more than to have music lovers discover our songs through the vinyl community, the same way I found my favorite artists as a young music lover.”

“As a producer, I am always interested in hearing new sounds and ideas, and one way I have discovered music was by walking around my local record store in Helsingborg.”
“A lot of times I would buy records that I knew nothing about just to bring it home and be surprised (good or bad). I found one of my favourite records and artists doing this when I brought home The Essential Toto by American rock band Toto. I credit their music as one of the main reasons I started playing drums.
There is something special about listening to music through a record player vs. other mediums. Maybe it’s the “timeless” portrayal of vinyl. Maybe it is the significance it had on my upbringing and influence on my now career? Maybe the audio quality is just so raw it connects with our souls in a way that can’t be explained?
Whatever it is, all I know is that when Maria and I turn on the record player in our apartment, it allows me to take a deep breath, and it automatically signifies a relaxation and quiet period to just enjoy the music and not worry about anything else.”
