At the beginning of the year, we spotlighted a Kickstarter from Chicago indie-rock group Options. The campaign, an effort to press their latest EP to wax, was successfully funded, and now, five months later, with the support of DIY Chicago label Redbeard Records, Options is releasing Little Victories on vinyl.
Options will be celebrating the vinyl release at Underground Lounge this Thursday, 6/7. Grab all of the details you need, below.
While the EP was written and performed solely by front-man Seth Engel, since recording, Seth has expanded Options to a quintet with the addition of Bryan Kingsley, Mike Nardone, Mike Walker, and Evan Loritsch.
Little Victories is currently available online from Redbeard Records for just $10, as well as at the release show on Thursday. The 6-track, 45 RPM, EP was pressed to 12” red vinyl in a limited run of 250 hand numbered copies.
The 21+ show kicks off at Underground Lounge (952 W Newport Ave) at 8:30 PM. Options will be supported by Survivalist, Rocket Miner, and JT Royster. Tickets are just $7, and can be picked up at the door.
