New from Haroula Rose, “Close My Eyes To See”

If I had to come up with a musical combination guaranteed to make me swoon, it would include indie-folk music, an acoustic guitar, and a leading lady with a voice as intimate as her lyrics.

Fortunately for me and everyone else with a pair of ears, there’s Chicago-born songstress Haroula Rose.

Haroula Rose – Close My Eyes To See (Luke Top Remix)

With an amazing debut album (available on vinyl), a brand new remix, and not one, but two releases due out in 2012, Haroula Rose definitely has our attention.

By this Friday, Rose will be in Georgia with producer Jim White recording her follow up to the 2011 release These Open Roads.

While we are waiting for her latest EP to arrive in early Spring, there is a brand new remix of the These Open Roads track, “Close My Eyes To See,” done by Luke Top of Fool’s Gold.

As an added bonus, there’s the new music video for Rose’s killer cover of Mason Jennings’ “Duluth.”
