TVD First Date:
Alice Cooper

I credit Dianne, really—my friend Carol’s big sister. Growing up in the early to mid ‘70’s, her taste in bands was spot-on: Bowie, Sweet, Elton, Queen—and Alice Cooper. Her taste had this trickle down effect on both Carol and me, our childhood noggins being split open and scrambled at a very early age in the best way imaginable.

Before a pal put a copy of KISS “Destroyer” in my hands, it was Alice who first had a stranglehold on my attention and imagination.

The truth is you never do forget your first—and in a bit of a cosmic, karmic, 360-degree turn, Alice is TVD’s very first Audio First Date:
